Analytic, Quasi-Analytic, and Analytic Element Modeling of Unsaturated Flow: The Work of Art Warrick.

The modeling work of Art Warrick and his students and collaborators is reviewed in this presentation. We chronologically follow the modeling efforts for solution of the Richards equation, starting with analytical solutions, followed by the quasi-analytical models, and ending with the application of the analytical element method for unsaturated flow.
