Dr. Diana Jerkins, National Program Leader, from The Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES) will provide tips for success for developing and implementing an integrated project for potential applicants to CSREES Integrated Programs. Dr. Jerkins will guide potential applicants in finding the correct funding opportunity for specific topic areas. Information will be provided in identifying a problem area and development of an integrated project, including: using the logic model planning process, ensuring your project is stakeholder driven, creating a collaborative team, developing strong project management and evaluation plans, and developing a strategic response. Additional information will be provided on what qualities make a proposal successful and details to remember when writing a competitive integrated proposal. Information will also be provided in navigating CSREES online applicant resources.
