Will discuss the underlying geological story and changing coastal landscape, including the dramatic changes we will likely see in the future of the Mississippi River and the entire Gulf Coast. With dramatic changes in the delta landscape and land mass (due to engineering and environmental factors), the impact of future hurricanes will be considered.
