Influence of Tillage and Fertility Regimes on Field Corn Grain Yield.

Todd Willian, Byron Sleugh, and Becky Gilfillen. Western Kentucky University, 1 Big Red Way, Bowling Green, KY 42101

A field experiment was established in Bowling Green, Ky to evaluate the influence of tillage and fertility regimes on field corn grain yield. Three fertility treatments (inorganic fertilizer, broiler litter and inorganic fertilizer + broiler litter) were utilized in two tillage regimes (no-till and conventional tillage)and plots were replicated three times. Corn grain yield was recorded from the 2 center rows of each 4 row plot. Neither tillage or fertility treatment influenced grain yield.
