Bioedaphos V2.0 an Integrated Spatial and Dynamic Software Tool to Promote Site Specific Silviculture in Chile.

A GIS software tool was programed in Avenue for ArcView 3.0 to enhance use of soil mapping and site information to develop site-specific silviculture and sustainable management of commercial forest plantations in Chile. The software integrates site specific, physical and chemical soil information; regional climatic, geologic, and terrain data; and a support educational help system for soil management considerations related to forest operations.
