Streambank Stabilization and Erosion Control on Military Lands.

This presentation will discuss the current state of erosion control and streambank stabilization on military lands, specifically Camp Atterbury, IN. A collaborative effort to assess and minimize training impacts from erosion and streambank degradation is under way at Camp Atterbury. Camp Atterbury in conjunction with USACE CERL and USACE HQ are demonstrating several methods that are cost effect, troop friendly and easily implemented with in-house labor on several severely impacted sites within Nineveh Creek.
