Alleviation or reducing of excess water damage of soybean at seed germination is very important for get enough plant numbers per area and sustain grain yield. However, excess water damage to the germinating soybean seeds can be reduced by high rainfall and low water penetration in upland or paddy field in Korea. We investigated seed size and seeding depth could overcome or decrease the excess water damage and get some good results.
