The Great Plains Region of the U.S. Canola Association.

The U.S. Canola Association is organized to promote and encourage the establishment and maintenance of conditions favorable to the production, marketing, processing, and use of Canola and other varieties of rapeseed in the United States. The United States is divided into five Regional Production Areas. The Great Plains Region includes ten states. With the Development of more winter hardy varieties this region as seen an increase in production the past few years. This paper is designed to point out some of the people and activities of the Region’s Canola research and production.
