Effect of Seeding Pattern and Rate on Soybean Growth and Yield.

Research was conducted in 2007 at the University of Arkansas Northeast Research and Extension Center in Keiser comparing various soybean seeding patterns and rates on soybean growth and yield. Soybean was seeded in two patterns, twin-row (19-cm rows separated by 97 -m centers) compared to single-row peanut (97 -m rows). Seeding rates were 90, 112, 135, 157, and 179 kg ha-1. A maturity group III, IV, and V soybean was seeded in each combination of seeding pattern and rate. Data has yet to be collected.
