Canola is Canada’s second most valuable field crop in terms of income generated to producers. Many technical and agronomic advancements have been made in the past to allow for improved yields and better returns for growers. An overview of the current agronomic situation of the canola crop in Canada including improvements of the past, current successes and upcoming challenges for the future will be discussed.
