Military vehicle impacts are known to reduce vegetative cover and increase erosion potential. Regrowth or recovery of this vegetation is dependent on the type and severity of the impact, and the environmental conditions. Vehicle impact and vegetative recovery evaluation has been conducted at various military installation. The influence of vehicle impact type and severity on the vegetative recovery rates will be presented.
